If you want to make positive change in your life, work and relationships then The 3rd Space is your personal problem-solving partner.

Solve that problem. Get to the truth of a matter. Find that solution. Develop that positive change pathway. Feel good about yourself.

At its core, The 3rd Space app is a personal coaching tool … your partner for positive change.

Here’s how The 3rd Space help you make that positive change.

STEP 1: Name your challenge

We all have challenges in life - those little things (or big things) that get in the way of us being brilliant. You know what I am talking about.

1. What it your current challenge?
2. What positive change do you want to make in your life, work or relationship?
3. Can you state the core of your issue in a sentence?

STEP 2: Create your question

Open The 3rd Space and press “Play”.

What is the most important question you must ask (right now) to hope you resolve your challenge?

For example:
“What is my ideal career next step?”
“How can I increase my motivation for …?”
“What is the best way to address … ?”

You get the picture.

Create your question. Input it into The 3rd Space. Press “Start”.

STEP 3: Choose your dimension

The 3rd Space then invites you to take your question for a spin … literally.

Every challenge is multi-dimensional. The 3rd Space invites you to evaluate your current challenge through five core dimensions:

Self - what about your ‘inner world’ might be getting in the way of you making that positive change?

Present - what do you need to pay attention to in the ‘here-and-now’ to make that positive change?

Action - what activities do you need to start (stop or change) doing to build your positive change momentum?

Collective - what people and relationship dynamics are influencing your positive change efforts?

Environment - what is the ‘big picture’ that is both informing and influencing your challenge, and your positive change efforts?

Clever right? The 3rd S.P.A.C.E is also an easy to remember acronym for considering the five foundational dimensions that inform any issue.

Press “Spin”.

Then, choose between the two dimensions of change presented to you.

STEP 4: Discover your brilliance

The 3rd Space will give you a coaching question related to the change dimension you selected.

Answer the question as it relates to your issue as best you can.

Don’t shy away from the question posed - as your partner for positive change The 3rd Space may throw you a curve ball!

Type your reflection and insights in the space provided.

Press “Done”

STEP 5: Rate your progress

Rate your progress in answering your question using The 3rd Space’s Progress Dashboard. Your dashboard asks you to consider your progress according to three criteria:

CLARITY - Your clarity of the real issue or root cause underpinning the challenge you face?

DIRECTION. The direction or course of action you believe to be the best for addressing the root cause of the issue you face.

COMMITMENT. Your level of commitment to implementing the course of action you believe to optimal for addressing the root cause of the issue you face.

Rate your progress from 0 —10 using the three progress dials provided.

Press “Next”.

STEP 6: Continue to play OR Celebrate!

Press “Spin”. Choose between the two dimensions. Answer the next question. Rate your progress.

And if you score 10/10 for the three progress indicators of Clarity, Direction and Commitment then Celebrate!

And, most importantly, implement your positive change plan.
